Forge Ahead and Keep Pace with the Times

 

Over the years, adhering to the principle of "In and Out", the international exchange work of the School of Management has actively built a new platform for international education exchange, cooperation, collaborative innovation, and development. With various large-scale international conferences hold, world-class scholars introduced, teachers going overseas for learning, enterprise exchanging and inspecting, numerous students of the School of Management to world-renowned schools for further study and practice, the school has been made a comprehensive progress in the process of the international construction. Centering on "broadening international horizons and improving cross-cultural communication capabilities", we are committed to cultivating compound senior professionals through diversified methods such as Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, international exchange programs and overseas social practice.

With the international cooperative education vigorously strengthened and good cooperative relations established with overseas schools, we build a more harmonious learning-exchange platform.

  • We cooperated with the University of Quebec in Canada for Master of Project Management (MPM), having the students of 46 terms graduated

  • We cooperated with Thomson Rivers University in Canadafor an undergraduate education program of Business Administration, having the students of 17 terms graduated

  • We cooperated with Osaka SangyoUniversity in, having students of 16 terms graduated

  • We signed an MBA (logistics) project with Dresden International University, and the first batch of students have successfully enrolled in 2019

  • We signed an exchange-study program with University of Hyogo in Japan and a program to recommend students for further study without examinations, having students of 3 terms graduated

  • We cooperated with Thailand's Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin to organize a joint training "2+2" undergraduate dual-degrees program for international students in China, having students of 5 terms graduated

  • We signed a 3+1 undergraduate dual-degrees program with Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland, and the first batch of students is expected to be sent in 2025

     

    The faculty delegation of the School of Management visited well-known overseas universities and participated in various international forums, which greatly improved the overall academic research level and practical management ability of us.

  • We went for Doshisha University, Osaka City University, MOBIO Incubator, Kansai Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises, etc., for visits, seminars and exchanges.

  • We participated in International Conference of International Elite Business School Accreditation

  • We went to the United States to attend the WBEF World Building Environment Summit and tostudy overseasas well as to Arlington Business School at the University of Texas for academic exchange

  • We went to Australia to participate in the 22nd Annual Meeting of the Asia Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS) for exchange and study

  • We went to the National University of Singapore as visiting scholars and had academic exchanges with Professor Miroslaw Skibniewski from the University of Maryland

    "Discussing hot scientific research and gaining insight into cutting-edge development", the School of Management organizes various large-scale international conferences and forums to exchange current hot spots, latest research directions and achievements to further enhance the internationalization level of the school's faculty construction and introduce world-leading research into China. For "broadening the field of research and conduct in-depth academic discussions", we actively introduce many high-end scholars from the United States, Canada, Japan, etc. to our school for academic exchanges and forum lectures, injecting new vigor and vitality into the international cooperation and exchanges of the School of Management in various research fields.

  • We held the 2nd International Symposium on "Big Data, Knowledge and Intelligent Technology", the 20th International Electronic Commerce Conference, and East Asian Experience, History Education and Future Prospects for High-quality Economic Development - International Academic Symposium to Commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening Up and the 5th China-Japan Postgraduate Academic Forum

  • Professor Yan Shanping from the Institute of Global Issues at Doshisha University, Professor Naoki Murakami from the Faculty of Economics at Nihon University, Professor Ji Qinghua from California State University, Professor Liu Yanquan from Southern Connecticut State University, Professor Han Fuxiang from the Department of Economics at Osaka Sangyo University, and Professor Douglas Brodie, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Clyde, Professor Lu Maozu, Director of the China Research Center of the University of Strathclyde, UK, and Professor Li Dahui, University of Minnesota were invited to make academic reports and special speeches
